Marketing Manager
The whole thing took about 3 weeks and was pretty standard. First, I talked to a recruiter from Care.com. Then, there were 3 more chats: one with the hiring manager, then a group one with some team folks, and finally, the General Manager. They laid out the process clearly, and got back to me fast after each step.
- Can you describe the balance between strategic responsibilities and execution in your current position?
- Given that our marketing teams are split between strategy and execution, could you tell us more about where your time is primarily invested?
Marketing Manager
There were 4 steps in the interview process. It began with an initial phone screen by talent acquisition, followed by a phone screen with the hiring manager. Then there were in-person interviews with several team members. The final round, which was conducted via Skype, included the head of the division. The whole process felt very organized and flexible. People were happy to answer any questions I had.
- How would you approach starting the job in this new role?
- What initial steps would you take upon starting?
- How would you organize your approach to this position?
Marketing Manager
It was a 4 step interview process that took about a month. First round was with a recruiter. Then I met with the manager. After that, I met with team members. The last round was with the General Manager. Overall, the process went smoothly, and I felt they were genuinely interested in understanding how my skills would fit the role, rather than just checking boxes on a list.
- How do you approach prioritizing multiple campaigns and their timelines?
