I really liked how easy the interview process was and that they were upfront about what the job was and the pay. Talking to different managers was cool and everyone was really nice and open. The vibe and how everyone works together is inspiring. I'm even more excited about the job after talking to you.

A recruiter reached out to me for an exploratory call, which lasted about 15 minutes. During this chat, I learned about the company and the job, and she got to know me. Following that, she set up a virtual interview lasting an hour with three interviewers. It felt pretty laid-back and wasn't high-pressure at all. Later, the recruiter was nice enough to let me know they weren't moving forward with my application, which I appreciated because I wasn't left hanging.

Behavioral Presentation

I interviewed for a Customer Service Representative role at Care.com. At first, communication was good and things seemed organized, but it got worse as the process continued. I was hopeful before the third and final interview because I got positive feedback. I spent a lot of time preparing and adjusting my schedule for these interviews, feeling like I was being respectful of their time. Unfortunately, after the final interview, I didn't hear back about the results for over a week. My emails asking for updates were ignored, which was disappointing given how much time and effort I put into the process. When I finally got a response, I was told they hired someone else. I asked for feedback, but only got a vague, non-committal answer. I felt like I respected their time, but they didn't respect mine. I know not everyone can get the job, but the lack of follow-up and declining communication made the experience feel unprofessional and discouraging. Better communication and transparency would have made a big difference.
