Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cardone Ventures.
Accountant
Applied for a manager role. Started with an HR screen that seemed more like a sales pitch. Then I got a skills test with super basic, entry-level questions. But when they invited me for the next interview, the subject line said 'staff accountant' instead of the manager role I applied for. So I pulled out of the process.
- What makes you want to join this company?
Senior Accountant
We had 3 stages in the interview. First, a chat with HR. Then, a skills test with the Hiring Manager. Finally, a values presentation for the leadership team. They let us know the process pretty clearly. It was pretty average in terms of difficulty.
- Can you describe the qualities you look for in a mentor?
Accounts Receivable Specialist
It was pretty intense, but it does help to weed out candidates who aren't willing to go above and beyond. Everyone was super welcoming and made me feel comfortable. The process included 2 presentations for the role.
- If I was a fruit, what kind of fruit would I be?
