I only had a phone screen, which was pretty straightforward with standard questions for that stage. They asked about my past projects and what I like to do outside of school. Nothing unusual happened, and there weren't any technical questions. I'm not sure if there's a technical interview later on.

Had a phone call with a technical lead, which included a get-to-know-you part and a short Java question. Then an on-site interview with a director, followed by a meeting with four developers, and finally a one-on-one HR STAR question interview. The tech lead gave a different process than what happened, and the HR person was unhelpful. It felt like nobody knew what was going on, and this whiteboarding style from FAANG is really annoying. If this is how they work, I'm glad I didn't get an offer.

Behavioral Technical

I applied through reference and interviewed at the KOP office. It was a three-hour face-to-face interview with a panel of engineers, architects, and the marketing team. It was all casual technical talks, but nobody really tested the job requirement skills. I didn't see any real-time problem-solving or design questions like in other tech companies, which was strange. Maybe they need to add that to their screening to find the right candidates. I felt like I literally wasted my time there, and in the end, they said I wasn't a fit without asking a single question about the job skills. I've been on the market for a while and have interviewed with other tech companies in the Philly area. Most of them tested my skills with real-time problem-solving, which was missing here. I get that they might have a different way to gauge resources, but it's unknown to me.
