It was a really laid back interview with some super easy technical questions. There were three phone calls and one in-person meeting. Mostly they wanted to see if I knew about basic quality tools and how they work.

It was an over the phone interview for about 25-30 minutes. I had a chance to ask some questions at the end. It started with an initial interview with a recruiter, then a second interview in-person at the office.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was efficient and well-organized, with two main parts: an initial Screening Interview and then a Technical Deep Dive. Both were done virtually. The first interview was mainly about cultural fit and if my motivations aligned with the company. The recruiter was friendly and asked general questions to see my interest in the company and industry.

Behavioral Technical

I had multiple phone calls with HR reps before my in-person interview. I found out about another role that might be a better fit and asked if I could be considered, but was told it was more work for the same pay, so I dropped it. I think maybe she was focused on the original role or wasn't in charge of the other one. When I got to the in-person interview, I waited about ten minutes after arriving on time. It was a bit strange that no one from HR greeted me. I met with three people. The first one I clicked with and learned a lot about the job. The second guy seemed distracted, his office had kids' toys everywhere, and I felt like he was just killing time. The third person was alright. Something that made me uncomfortable was learning that it's generally not a good idea to ask questions, especially to senior people. Apparently, if I needed to talk to an application engineer, I'd have to get my boss to send an email because they're busy and get annoyed easily.
