I had an initial phone chat with HR, then another phone call with a Senior Manager, and finally an in-person meeting with managing directors and the senior manager. The overall experience was pretty rough due to a lot of miscommunication during scheduling with both the scheduler and HR. The last part of the interviews went great though, back in December. The recruiter said it went well and they were super keen. Then, nothing until January. I followed up and they mentioned some projects were uncertain and suggested staying in touch. It was obvious then they hadn't planned the hiring needs well. I haven't heard back either way, but the recruiter's poor communication has been a major turn-off.

So I had this initial phone chat with the CapTech Talent Acquisition Lead. Then, I had a technical phone interview with a manager from the Carolina Market. They emailed back saying the technical phone conversation went really well. Then I was invited onsite for like, half a day of interviews. I had 3 interviews: one with the Chicago Market Lead, one with a director, and one with a senior manager. Got an email saying the onsite interviews went well. Then they told me Captech would require 1 more additional onsite interview with a managing director for Virginia. After that interview, I got feedback that the interview went well. I reached out to the recruitment team after not hearing anything about potential next steps. Then I was totally ghosted. I feel like I at least deserved some explanation after investing so much of my time in the recruitment process.

It was a 3 step interview process. First was an HR phone interview to see if I was a general fit. Then, a director phone interview to go over my skills. The last step was a 2 hour onsite interview with 3 associates to check for personality fit. The whole process took about 2 weeks. After interviewing, candidates were reviewed every Tuesday to see if they fit the consulting business. They explained the process well and it was very professional.
