Data Analytics Consultant
The process was pretty straightforward. The first two rounds were virtual: one behavioral and one technical. The last round was in-person, and they covered travel and put us up in a nice hotel. This final round was a mix of behavioral and technical, with three 30-minute blocks. Two were behavioral, and one was technical. It wasn't too in-depth, more about looking at a dataset and explaining how you'd approach solving a hypothesis.
- Describe a situation where you collaborated in a team and share your general thoughts on teamwork.
- Given this dataset, how would you go about tackling this hypothesis?
Data Analytics Consultant
I found the job posting on an online job board and got a quick reply from HR in about 3 days to set up a phone screening. The HR screen was pretty standard, covering the role, company, and asking me to discuss my background. They said I'd know in a few days if I moved on. Then, a consultant from the company called me in about 2 days to chat about my technical skills, which included a case question. They were really nice and made me feel comfortable. The next day, I heard back from the company saying I'd reached the final interview stage. This involved two behavioral interviews and a chat with a senior employee. All these were at their main office and weren't too tough if you're prepared. About 5 days after that, I got an offer. The whole process felt organized and comfortable.
- Standard behavioral interview questions.
- A case-style question.
Data Analytics Consultant
It was a two-round process with a power day. The power day had a case study. The first two rounds were behavioral. Started with a phone call, then a behavioral interview, and then three things on the power day, the last being technical. It wasn't a bad experience overall.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- Let's discuss a data science case.
