CapTech Analyst Interview Questions
& Process

The whole interview process was made of 3x 30 minute behavioral interviews and 1x 30 minute technical interview. The first interview was on campus where we talked about my past experiences. It's a very chill vibe, and the interviewers were nice and easy to talk to. You'll hear back within a week or week and a half. If you get a second interview, it will be at their headquarters in Richmond, VA (this is only if you live in VA. I don't know what they do for people outside of Virginia).

The interview process was enjoyable. Everyone I met made me more sure that CapTech would be a great fit for a self-motivated professional. The environment was fun and conversational. I had a half-hour exploratory phone call with a recruiter. She asked if I wanted to chat with someone at CapTech with about a year of experience. I then had a mostly exploratory lunch with this CapTecher. Next, I had a technical Skype interview, another half-hour. Although it was supposed to be technical, we mostly discussed the technical aspects of my past jobs and projects. There was a coding question: write a couple of simple functions. Afterwards, I was invited for an in-person interview, which had three 30-minute conversations. The first was me asking questions, the second focused on my experience and was more technical/client focused, and the last was conversational. The process was fair, and everyone I met was social, professional, and excited about the company.

I interviewed for an Analyst role at CapTech. The first interview was on campus, it was a very chill, behavioral interview with general questions. Then, I had to go to Richmond, VA for the final interviews and a meet & greet with the employees. The meet & greet was really good. We talked about the culture, which is definitely a "work-hard, play-hard" vibe. I met a lot of people from different departments, and they all seemed genuinely happy and passionate about working there. I was impressed. The final interviews themselves were okay. I had two behavioral interviews, each with two interviewers, and then a case interview with one person. The behavioral ones were similar to the first round but focused more on project management and how I'd handle hypothetical situations. The case interview didn't involve math, but was about planning the implementation of tech solutions using SDLC. Each interview was about 15 minutes. I found the case interview tough because I didn't know much about SDLC, but even though I didn't get an offer, the overall process was pretty nice. CapTech seems like a great place, I would've accepted on the spot if they had offered.
