First, you need to submit an assignment for the leadership interview. The recruiter didn't give the assignment to the interviewers. Then, one of the interviews was supposed to be 30 minutes but the interviewer extended it to 1 hour without telling me. Another interviewer didn't prepare any questions and delayed the meeting by 15 minutes to get ready. This interviewer also turned off their camera for more than half the interview, seemed busy with other things (I could hear noises), and wasn't really listening to my answers. They showed no interest in my responses and gave no feedback. They were also late and left early. Finally, the recruiter scheduled a check-in meeting after the on-site, but never showed up. Definitely saw a lot of red flags during this interview.

Behavioral Technical

I had a 25-minute phone screen with a technical recruiter about my background and the company. A few days later, I had an in-person interview with the Head of Product. I had trouble getting the correct address and ended up waiting for it via email. The interview started awkwardly with some silence and a mistaken assumption about my previous company. About 30 minutes into my experience questions, I asked about the Head of Product's role and how the PM role fit in, but he couldn't provide details. Overall, it was a mediocre experience with low chemistry, especially after the rocky start. I didn't get an offer.

Behavioral Technical Case

The interview process started with a 15-minute phone screen with a technical recruiter, followed by a 45-minute call with a senior product manager, and concluding with a 3-hour onsite interview. The recruiter was really responsive, especially since I had another offer pending and they wanted to make sure I finished the process before my other offer expired. Everyone I met at the company was great - smart, friendly, and fun. Although I didn't get the specific role I applied for, the recruiter actively searched for other positions that might be a better fit. Unfortunately, nothing materialized from that search. However, the recruiter was kind enough to schedule a follow-up call to provide feedback and encouraged staying in touch. I plan to reapply in the future once I have more experience.

  • Share an instance where you had to handle a conflict.
  • Can you elaborate on the technical projects you worked on during your past internships?
