Behavioral

I was contacted by a staffing agency for an interview. First, I had to take the Chally test. After that, I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager, which I thought went really well. The manager seemed to think I was a good fit. However, the next day, I was told they weren't moving forward because they were worried about my commitment, citing my job search duration. I graduated in May and had been looking for 5 months, but they thought I started my search in January, when I was still in school and working. It was confusing, and I don't think that was the real reason they passed. The interview itself was good, but the inconsistency was a turn-off.

Behavioral Presentation Other

You'll have an initial in-person chat with the sales manager and maybe the VP of sales, which is pretty chill, just talk about your sales background and show you're eager to sell. Then, there's a ride-along where you'll shadow an Outside Acct Exec to see what the day-to-day is like -- it's a chance for both sides to see if it's a good match. The final part is a group interview where you'll need to present COS's strengths, explain why you like COS, and discuss how you can add value.

Behavioral Presentation Case

You start with a quick 20-30 minute phone call to see if you're a good fit and get the lowdown on the job. If they like you, you'll chat with the sales manager. Then, it's off for a field ride-along to see what the daily grind is like. After that, if the sales manager and HR give the thumbs up, you might face a panel of 5 C-level execs. This panel involves a 15-30 minute presentation where you pitch why you're the best candidate, followed by an hour of questions about your presentation and resume. They'll make a decision right after, and you'll hear back about a day later if your background check clears.
