First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Capital Staffing Solutions.
Recruiter
It was a 2 step process. The first was with 2 Assistant Managers and then the second was with 2 Vice Presidents. It was a really nice interview process and I got offered the job within a week of interviewing.
- What drives you and what is your motivation for getting into recruiting?
Recruiter
The interview process with Patrick was rude and disrespectful. He was short-tempered and due to a mix-up, he decided not to proceed with interviewing me at all. This experience was eye-opening to his crass and antagonistic nature. Thank you for not giving me a second chance. I can see why your reviews are so bad.
- Are you willing to accept an annual salary of $40,000?
Recruiter
The interview process included an initial phone call, followed by two virtual interviews. Additionally, there were analytical and reading comprehension assessments. The interviewers seemed to accurately represent the company culture, appearing highly motivated by financial gain and competition rather than the quality or care of their work. One employee explicitly stated, "you can't care too much, the people are the product." They also inquired about my approach to remote work and asked for my reasons behind the perceived high turnover among remote employees. Based on these interactions, I suspect a work culture issue might be contributing to the turnover. The offered base salary of 36k was considerably lower than the 55k advertised in the job posting. The assessments were also unusually extensive and different from any I've encountered professionally or academically for a role like this.
