First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Capital Staffing Solutions.
Recruiter
The interview process included an initial phone call, followed by two virtual interviews. Additionally, there were analytical and reading comprehension assessments. The interviewers seemed to accurately represent the company culture, appearing highly motivated by financial gain and competition rather than the quality or care of their work. One employee explicitly stated, "you can't care too much, the people are the product." They also inquired about my approach to remote work and asked for my reasons behind the perceived high turnover among remote employees. Based on these interactions, I suspect a work culture issue might be contributing to the turnover. The offered base salary of 36k was considerably lower than the 55k advertised in the job posting. The assessments were also unusually extensive and different from any I've encountered professionally or academically for a role like this.

Systems Administrator
The recruiter called me super early, like 6 AM. It made me wonder if they even looked at my resume to know what time zone I was in. After some basic stuff, they asked me about Active Directory and authentication, and honestly, it felt like they didn't really know what it was and were just reading off a list. I suggested we talk again during normal work hours. We then talked about the job, and they wanted me to update my resume to highlight Active Directory more in my skills and experience. I sent the updated resume and followed up a few times by email and phone, but never heard back. It was a total waste of my time dealing with a rude and clueless recruiter who should have stuck to HR stuff and let someone else handle the technical questions.
- What is Active Directory?
Human Resources
I saw the job on the internet and applied. Within 2 minutes, I got a call for a phone screen right then. Then, I was set up for an interview with the Hiring Manager, who talked about all the requirements and expectations. After that, I interviewed with another colleague. Later that afternoon, the recruiter contacted me to say the Hiring Manager wanted to proceed. I got an offer, and I said I needed a bit more money. We reached an agreement, and they asked when I could start, and I started the following week.
- Could you effectively collaborate with leaders at all organizational levels, presenting gathered data to them?
Project Manager
It was pretty easy. First, there was a phone interview with Capital Staffing. If that went well, they submitted my profile to their client. If the client was interested, they scheduled an in-person interview with me and the client.
- Can you describe your current role and explain its relevance to this position?
- What is your current salary?
