Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Capital Remodeling.
Sales Representative
It was pretty simple. They made sure to clearly explain everything and asked if I was interested. They were able to answer any questions or worries I had. The commission part was a bit tricky to understand, but the bottom line is if you can close deals, you'll make money.
- Are you available to work full-time during the week?
Sales
It was a really smooth interview process. They were quick to set up a formal interview. I'm waiting to hear back now because it went well and they seem like a really organized company.
- How did you find out about our company?
Sales Representative
I was contacted by a recruiter who gave some info but didn't give a clear picture of the job. She made it sound like the hours were flexible and work/life balance was great. But after talking with the sales manager, some of what the recruiter said wasn't true, which kinda sets you up for failure. The sales manager was really nice, easy to talk to, and gave good info. He was straight with me and left no questions about the job or the hours. He seems like a good boss, but the hours weren't for me.
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
- What motivated you to apply for this role?
- What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
