The interview process was pretty straightforward, though it felt disorganized and hastily put together. It seemed like there wasn't much thought given to what questions would best assess an applicant's qualifications.

Some casual chats about your past work. They want to know if you're willing to learn, eager to understand the company's operations, what you can bring to the table, and if you can pass a drug and driving test.

When I got to the office, they had me fill out another application even though I'd already applied online. The recruiter I spoke with had a bunch of titles in his email signature and only gave his last initial, which felt like a red flag. The people I met didn't match the name the emails were supposedly from, making me think it was fake. This seems like a typical 'pump and dump' field sales gig. They advertise them as marketing or advertising roles, but they're actually just field sales where you're on call 6 days a week, using your own car to drive long distances to follow up on leads.

I was contacted by a recruiter who gave some info but didn't give a clear picture of the job. She made it sound like the hours were flexible and work/life balance was great. But after talking with the sales manager, some of what the recruiter said wasn't true, which kinda sets you up for failure. The sales manager was really nice, easy to talk to, and gave good info. He was straight with me and left no questions about the job or the hours. He seems like a good boss, but the hours weren't for me.
