So the interview process was pretty structured. Started with a chat with HR, then talked to the hiring manager and some of the team. It was mostly behavioral stuff, asking about market things like Fed views, index fundamentals, and then went into a process discussion and an investment pitch.
- What's your take on the Federal Reserve?
- How would you invest $100k?
- Can you pitch a stock to me?

The interviews went great. The first interview was behavioral, the second was technical, and I think the third one was a final round. After the second interview, they told me I made it to the final interview and I would hear back shortly for scheduling. Unfortunately, that was the last I heard from them about the job. I even reached back out and they said they would be in touch, that was 6 weeks ago and I haven't heard a peep. It would've been nice to at least be told I didn't get the job after being told I made it to the final round of interviews!
- Could you describe a stock you've analyzed for your firm?

After submitting my resume and cover letter, there were three main interview stages: a pre-recorded interview, a phone interview, and a video interview. The first part was a pre-recorded session, similar to Hirevue, where I answered questions about the company and some situational ones. Then came the phone interview, which was focused on discussing my resume in detail, going through each part. Finally, there was a video interview.
- Can you tell me about the different experiences listed on your resume?
- What are your thoughts on the company's experiences?
- Can you describe your experiences?
