Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Capillary Technologies.
Business Analyst
Capillary's interview process has 5 stages. First is a video resume where candidates upload their resume along with a self-introduction and what motivates them. Second, a group discussion (GD) for those selected from the video resume stage. HR assigns a topic, and it's an elimination round. Third, a written test with 60 questions on aptitude, verbal, and reasoning, lasting 60 minutes with no negative marking. Attempting all questions is not compulsory but helps with marks. Fourth is a technical interview round. Fifth is the HR round.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Business Analyst
The interview process was pretty straightforward. There were a total of 3 rounds. The first round focused on SQL queries and my previous company experience. The second round involved case studies on topics like marketing and elections. In the third round, the Global Head asked HR-related questions, such as why I was interested in joining the company. The fourth round was about salary compensation. After the third round, HR mentioned I was selected, but after the fourth round, I received no further communication, even after sending reminders and calling. It's frustrating when HR provides inaccurate information and doesn't respect a candidate's time. Just a heads-up, they only scheduled interviews on weekdays.
- Write SQL queries
- Tell me about your company related experience
- Solve these case studies related to marketing, elections etc
Business Analyst
It started with a written test with objective questions, kind of like the CAT exam. The questions themselves weren't hard, but the time limit was tight, so I guess they were checking our speed. Then there was a case study where I had to do some data analysis and give a presentation. Finally, they asked some general HR questions about why I'm interested in Capillary and why I'm seeking a career change.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- Could you work through some puzzles?
- Walk me through your previous experience.
