First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Capgemini Engineering.
Senior Software Engineer
It was a very pleasant interview, honestly. The interviewer was super polite and charming. I really liked her and she gave me good vibes. She also spoke in English and French. It was a long interview.

- Languages you speak.
- Your future plans.
Software Development Engineer
So, the interview process usually starts with an Online Assessment (OA) which typically has MCQs covering CS fundamentals like OOPS, DBMS, OS, and Networks. You'll also face DSA problems involving arrays, strings, recursion, sorting, and searching. Sometimes, they throw in aptitude or logical reasoning questions too. Then comes the Technical Interview where you're expected to code on a notepad or whiteboard, no IDE assistance. They commonly ask for pattern problems (like stars, pyramids, number triangles). You might also get questions about your projects, basic system design, APIs, and debugging. They're often more interested in your problem-solving approach than just the syntax. The last round is the HR Interview, where they check your communication, attitude, and if you're a cultural fit. Expect questions like 'Why this company?' and 'Tell me about yourself'.
- Tell me about Java, both basic and advanced concepts.
- Do you have any questions related to MySQL?
Technical Lead
The interview process focused heavily on AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, S3, and Gateway. It also covered the deployment of Spring Boot microservices using a CI/CD pipeline, including serverless implementation. Additionally, knowledge of Java 8 and 11 features was assessed, along with some coding questions.
- Tell me about AWS Lambda.
- Can you explain AWS Glue?
- What are your experiences with AWS S3?
