So, the interview had a few parts. First, there was an online test with a few sections: aptitude, pseudocode, and technical multiple-choice questions, plus a section for essay writing and a game-based aptitude part. After that, we had a coding round. Then came a communication assessment. Finally, there was a technical and HR interview.
- Can you tell me about the projects you've worked on?
Analyst
I went through a 3-round interview process at Capgemini for two positions: Senior Analyst (₹7.25 LPA) and Analyst (₹4.25 LPA). The company was only recruiting female candidates on campus. The first round involved an Online Assessment with basic aptitude, verbal, and logical reasoning questions. It also included pseudocodes and an English communication test (MCQ), followed by a game-based aptitude test with four games to assess deductive logical thinking, grid challenge, and motion challenge. Lastly, there was a behavioral competency test, which is a psychometric test for work-related behavior. Candidates who passed this moved to the next round. The second round differed based on the role. For the Analyst role, it was an English communication test that included audio recording, word pronunciation, sentence repetition, and a 30-second speech on a given topic. For the Senior Analyst role, there was an additional coding round with three questions.
- Tell me about your background.
- Can you explain Java OOP concepts, like polymorphism, method overriding, and method overloading?
- Can you tell me about your project?
Senior Analyst
So there's a first screening test with aptitude, English, and games. If you pass that, you get an offer of 4 lpa. But if you do really well, then there's another screening test with a coding round (easy level) to get an offer of 7.5 lpa. If you don't do the second test, you still get 4 lpa. There's also a technical interview and an HR interview for the 7.5 lpa offer.
- Asked about recursion
- Asked to code a binary tree
- Asked to code a string question
