I talked to the recruiter first. Then I went to the unit and met with management. After that, I interviewed with both nurse managers and got a tour of the unit. They offered me the job right then.

They have big opening events a few times a year where you can just walk in and give them your CV. You might get to chat with Unit Managers if they show up. I went to the one in the fall, and it was pretty laid-back, but still, dress nicely. First, you'll see some people at the entrance who will direct you to a spot based on the department you're interested in. You can actually apply to as many departments as you like. Then you just wait for your turn.

Got an interview pretty quick after I applied. It was about an hour long. The person interviewing me was really nice, so it wasn't a high-pressure situation. After the interview, they showed me around the main part of the facility.
