First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cantor Fitzgerald.
Investment Banking Intern
We had a couple of interview rounds. The first one was virtual and lasted about an hour. Then there was a second interview that was in-person and took about 2 to 3 hours with the whole team. This in-person part was really about diving deeper to see if I was a good fit, checking my technical skills, and gauging my overall interest in investment banking.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Intern
The interview was a mix of behavioral and technical questions, and it was pretty tough. They asked about how depreciation impacts income statements and other standard technical questions, plus a few less common ones. The interviewer was pretty friendly, and I actually enjoyed the experience.
- Could you mention a recent deal by Cantor and tell me what made it interesting to you?
Investment Banking Intern
We started with a 20-minute video call with HR where they asked general behavioral and fit questions. There were also 5 mental math questions that needed to be answered within 30 seconds. The next interview stage was planned to be a technical interview with a team member.
