Presentation

The process took a long time and I had to prepare for the final presentation. The company benefits and office are good. The process leading up to the final interview was too long and difficult, and it was hard to manage the assignments and presentations while working.

Beware Canon Dubai, they post fake job openings to steal candidate ideas. I applied for the Digital Marketing Role on LinkedIn, which had been open for over 10 months. I had a first screening interview, then after 2 weeks, an interview with HR and the Hiring Manager. After 3 weeks, I was asked to do a presentation on their 'AKTASHIF' campaign, which included a full audit, strategy, and recommendations. I felt suspicious because business cases should be for dummy or old projects, not actual ones. After my presentation to a panel including HR, the Hiring Manager, and two team members from the UK, they showed no engagement and said they'd get back to me. Within 24 hours, I saw they had implemented my recommendations on their website without my consent, which is unethical. After 3 weeks with no response and the vacancy still posted, I followed up with HR. She said they were still interviewing people, but I realized they were just stealing ideas. I found out many friends faced the same issue. It's concerning how a big company like Canon can do such things without audit or compliance.

Behavioral Presentation

I had 3 interviews total. First was an HR call for 30 minutes, then a face-to-face with the Line Manager for an hour. The last one was a 90-minute interview panel, also face-to-face. A week after the panel, the hiring manager called me with a job offer. We negotiated salary and relocation, and I accepted.
