The interview process began with a 1.5-hour first round that included casing and behavioral questions. The final round consisted of two additional hour-long interviews, one with a behavioral question and the other with a case. I felt the difficulty of the cases increased significantly from the first to the final rounds. The final stages also included three coffee chats, a group case focusing on collaboration, and two events designed for networking and getting to know everyone. This final stage was a substantial time commitment, which I found disproportionate given that not everyone receives an offer. It was quite draining and demanded significant preparation time. It seems they prioritize consulting/business experience over enthusiasm for the healthcare industry.

I applied on the CTCA website for a role at their new company, Vidence, which started in 2019. I had a phone call with HR, then a video interview with the VP, and finally a video interview with the team. During the interviews, I introduced myself, the VP talked about Vidence's work, and the team members introduced themselves and asked some questions. I received a standard rejection email from CTCA's system the day after my last interview. No explanation was given, but CTCA was recently bought by another company, so they might be in a transition period and not hiring right now.

I applied online and had a first call with HR. Then I had a phone interview with a leader in supply chain management. The final round was on-site and involved four case studies. Overall, my experience with CTCA was good. They were fast with decisions and HR answered my questions quickly. The on-site case interviews weren't as tough as consulting firm cases but still needed prep. Since I hadn't done a case interview before, I was happy to get the chance. I didn't get an offer in the end, but they were very professional throughout.
