We had 4 to 5 interviews. The first was an HR check on motivation. The second was another HR check, looking at fit for the role and salary expectations. The third was with the BU manager to understand expectations and issues. The fourth was with the BU manager again, involving a situational exercise compared to other candidates. A fifth optional interview was with an n+2/3 to check alignment with C+'s vision.

Behavioral Presentation

I was invited by email to a recruitment session after submitting my CV at my school's forum. We spent an afternoon at Canal's premises where they gave us a brief presentation of the company and the various departments where we could apply to be a digital project assistant, in digital experience, distribution, or content publishing. Then, we had 2 interviews with HR and the manager of 2 of these departments (assigned based on our profile). They asked us to introduce ourselves, and there were some questions about our project management experience and what's on our CV. They were also there to answer our questions about what their departments do. One or two days later, they called us to let us know if we were accepted or not and expected us to give our decision immediately. This is the only negative point of their recruitment process in my opinion: we felt rushed to give our answer (6 months before the internship start date).

Technical Behavioral Presentation

The interview process involves 5 rounds, including technical interviews with the DSI focusing on big data projects. The HR team is receptive to candidates. There's not much room for salary negotiation as it's mostly fixed based on the candidate's education. Typically, interviews are held at the Eiffel building, but this might not be the final office location. Offices are located in BOULOGNE, Issy-les-Moulineaux, and Saint-Denis.
