Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Canaccord Genuity Group.
Senior Analyst
First, there was a phone interview, then a panel of at least two interviewers, and finally an on-site interview to confirm your understanding of the role.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Please specify your years of experience.
Analyst
I finished the interview and it was pretty easy. The entire thing took like 3-4 weeks from applying to getting an offer. First, HR called. Then, I had an in-person meeting with the manager, which included both behavioral and technical questions, plus an assessment. After that, I had a panel interview with the team.
- Tell me about a challenging situation you encountered at work and describe how you managed it.
Analyst
It was a tough but reasonable process that made me appreciate the company more in the end. The interviewers were smart, nice, and quick to answer questions. It was held face-to-face in New York. There was a good mix of behavioral and technical questions.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
