Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Camunda.
Account Executive
The team was really professional and engaged. The process included an HR screening, a call with the hiring manager, and then a discovery call role-play, followed by an account planning interview. The hiring manager was particularly interested in my approach to the discovery process and how I pinpoint pain points, which was a good opportunity for me to show my skills.
- What drives your interest in this position?
- Can you describe your professional background?
- What experience do you have selling within this industry?
Account Executive
I went through a pretty intense interview process. I met with 10 people and had to give a presentation to a panel of 6. After that, I was totally ghosted with no feedback for 3 weeks. When I finally chased them, they told me they went with another candidate. After investing so much time, I felt it was disrespectful. It really shows something about the company, so be cautious.
- Tell me about how you handle conflict.
Sales Executive
The whole interview was done via email, and I never talked to anyone from talent coordination. They barely talked to me and never gave me any feedback. I eventually had a Zoom call with the hiring manager, but it felt like they were just reading questions from a spreadsheet. Then I had to do a case study where I had to prep a lot to do a discovery call with the hiring manager and a solution architect. I got great feedback on that, but then they ghosted me for over a week and a half. Finally, I got an email saying I didn't get the job, no call or feedback. It all felt super impersonal, took forever, and was unprofessional because nobody was upfront or engaged.
- How do you approach value selling?
