We started with a resume drop, then an HR screening with Dartmouth Partners. After that, I had a first round with two executives (analysts) which was a mix of technical and behavioral questions. The second round was with 2 associates/VPs, also a mix of technical/behavioral. Finally, the superday had 2 managing directors with 2 back-to-back interviews that were mainly behavioral.

I had a quick 10-15 minute phone chat with Dartmouth Partners about a Summer Analyst position. The person interviewing me was nice and professional, and mostly asked why I wanted to work in private equity and if I understood the industry. It was a simple, conversational, and skills-focused interview, and overall, I had a good experience.

My first interview was a 30-minute Zoom call with a recruiter, since the firm outsources recruiting and it wasn't someone from the actual team. After that, I was invited to a virtual "super day." This involved two 30-minute interviews, one after the other, with the two members of the GPCA team. Since the team is new in New York, they were apparently only looking for two interns. The interview itself felt pretty straightforward, but unfortunately, I didn't get an offer in the end.
