I sent in my cover letter and resume and heard back pretty quickly from someone in HR. We had a brief phone chat, and the next day, I got asked to do a timed writing assessment. They said I had 3-5 business days to finish it. I made it a priority, got it done, sent it in, and followed up to make sure they got it, but haven't heard anything back in two months. I've called and left messages and emailed two people involved, but it's been radio silence. The writing assessment took about 60 minutes on a weeknight. I also had to fill out a pretty detailed candidate record, which took at least 30 minutes.

Had a phone screen, some writing tests, interviews, and a power point test, plus a case study. Most of the tests were about general work skills, not really analytical stuff, except for the case study. The case study was a bit rough, the consultant seemed to pull it from memory and left out key details. I had to point out the missing info and ask about different scenarios. Nobody had read my resume, and one manager was kind of negative about my past work, saying things like 'don't expect to be given the ability to do that here'. Not a great experience.

Case Behavioral Presentation
Got a preliminary phone screening which then led to an on-site interview. During the on-site, I interviewed with several people across different levels, from consultant to managing director. Each interview lasted an hour and included both a case study and a fit assessment. The cases were focused on life sciences, as anticipated. There was also a presentation component. The cases were quite interesting, and the interview format really gave a good feel for the firm culture. It was a long day, but overall, it was a great consulting interview experience.

I applied for the summer internship through my college. The first stage was an online timed writing assessment that lasted 60 minutes. After that, there was a phone interview. The interview was mainly behavioral, focusing on my resume, background, strengths and weaknesses, and how I handled a crisis situation. Unfortunately, the company got acquired and cancelled their internship program that year.
