First I had a screening call with a recruiter. Then I interviewed with two other people who have the same job title. The last step would have been a final presentation.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a long interview process, starting with an HR recruiter phone screen about 2 days after applying. A week later, I met with the hiring manager. Both of these were pretty casual and focused on culture fit. Then came a project where I had to show skills for the position. It was tough but manageable if you're qualified. After passing that, I had in-depth talks with two other managers about the company and role. The last step was a meeting with the CMO. They asked some job-related questions, but mostly wanted to know about my past experiences and how I could bring my successes to Cameo. The whole thing took over two months, which was the only downside. Everyone was great and professional, and the culture is awesome. The HR recruiter kept me updated throughout, which was nice.

Behavioral Technical

So after applying, I heard back pretty quickly that same week. First, there was a personality and aptitude test, plus some initial chats with HR. Then, when I got to talk with the higher-ups, I got the feeling I wasn't being respected. They were on their phones and computers, never cracked a smile, and would mute themselves to talk to each other while I was speaking, sometimes even cutting me off. I was really excited about this job, so it was disappointing how that went down.
