Had a 45 min behaviour interview where they asked questions about my CV. Then there were multiple interviews at the assessment centre. The AC included a programming interview which covered OOP, data structures and algorithms, definitions of different techniques in my strongest programming language, what some lines of code do, and writing a function to do XYZ. The programming interview had a lot of variety but not much depth. After that was a free lunch, then a design interview and a chat with possible managers. The HR people didn't give any details about what the AC interviews would be like.

I applied online and got a phone call pretty quickly, like in less than a week. Someone from the team I applied for gave me a call, they told me about their projects and asked about my resume, my past experiences, and team projects. They also threw in some tech questions. It was short, under 25 minutes, and they said they'd let me know about the decision and that the next step was an Assessment Centre. Unfortunately, I got an email two days later saying I didn't make it past the phone interview. I later figured out the correct answers and realized I was too nervous to give them all during the interview. So, my advice is to definitely go over the concepts for the role you're applying for, even if they don't give you a heads-up on what to expect.

After a quick phone chat, I was invited to Cambridge for a full day of interviews, running from about 10 am to 4 pm. They covered my travel expenses. The day was broken down into five one-hour segments: first, a friendly chat with HR about my resume and my likes/dislikes from university; second, an interview with my potential manager to see how I approach problems; third, lunch and a tour with some future colleagues; fourth, a technical interview with coding challenges; and finally, another technical interview focused on numerical problem-solving skills, which was quite abstract and maybe not directly tied to the job. I felt the whole day, with its many interactions with CCL staff, was designed to give me a real feel for the company while also assessing me. This was super helpful in forming a solid opinion about the work environment and the people. Overall, it was a great experience that gave me a good sense of the company culture, though a few technical questions were a bit tough!
