Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cambridge Associates, LLC.
Investment Analyst
Overall not too bad. It involves an initial round where HR does a phone screening. After that there is a super day with 3-4 interviews. First, there is a behavioral round and then two technical rounds, each lasting 45 minutes, which is followed by a more casual coffee chat.
- Can you describe the analyst role and mention three of its responsibilities?
Investment Analyst
The interview questions were standard and not tricky. The recruitment process was long (took several months) and I did not get any reply after the final round. The pay was also not competitive enough.
- What are your thoughts on recent market developments?
Investment Analyst
The initial interview involved two team members, a manager and an associate, who were both quite approachable. This first stage was typical, focusing on my background, reasons for applying, and my understanding of their work. The subsequent round included an Excel test and a case study, which was hampered by poor equipment and a very late supervisor, cutting into the allotted time.
- Can you walk us through your background and explain your interest in finance?
- What is your understanding of our company and its operations? Specifically, why are you interested in CA?
- How do your friends typically describe you?
