Summer Analyst
First up was an HR chat that was all behavioral. Pretty standard stuff like strengths/weaknesses, teamwork, and handling criticism. Then, the second part involved two behavioral interviews and a case study.
- Can you share an instance where you received criticism and what you took away from it?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Tell me about a time you worked as part of a team.
Performance Analyst
Found out about the job from talking to a recruiter at a campus career fair. Submitted application online and completed phone screen a week later then traveled down to DC for super day (bonus: they reimburse you for travel). Day started with an informational presentation on the group followed by standard super day format of 4-5 consecutive interviews, most with the group's managers. Interview questions were somewhat repetitive. Everyone I met was in their 20s, so seemed like it'd be a fun environment to work in after college. Heard back from the recruiter that I didn't get the job within a week after the super day. Overall positive experience: the process moved quickly, recruiter was helpful, and everyone seemed to genuinely like working there.
- Nothing too unusual
Analyst
So the process was pretty standard - first there was this online questionnaire thing, then I had an interview with two of the senior team members, and the final round was all about choosing between a few different video game development projects, kind of like trying to figure out the risk versus return on them, like they were trying to set up an investment universe.
- What investment vertical are you most interested in right now?
