KOL Specialist
There were 5 interview rounds in total. The first round was with a colleague at the same job position, and it was conducted in both Chinese and English. Then, an HR interview followed, which was in English. Next, I interviewed with the Head of China Office, also in English. After that, I spoke with the Head of Asia Area, in English. The final round was with someone from Headquarters, and it was conducted in English.

The hiring process was quick for me, taking about two weeks to get hired. However, I've heard it can take months for others. My quick turnaround might be due to being available in a specific time zone they needed and having my TEFL certification, which might have made a difference.
- I submitted an online application along with a video, and was informed that they would contact me via email. I was ultimately accepted a few weeks later, without meeting anyone for a formal video interview.
Influencer Marketing Specialist
The interview process had about 5 or 6 rounds. It started with a phone screen, followed by a meeting with the local leadership team. Then, there were 2-3 rounds with country managers from other regions, including the founder. I was rejected at round 5 after meeting with the Middle East country manager. HR was very responsive and helpful in getting feedback from interviewers, which was good. However, the process became extremely unprofessional from that point on. I was told the Middle East country manager went on vacation and forgot to submit his feedback after interviewing me, which delayed the decision. HR explained it as, 'He went on vacation and probably somewhere with very bad signal so we were not able to reach him.' This was the response I got after repeatedly asking HR for feedback. She also encouraged me not to give up. Given her positive demeanor, I decided to wait, even after hearing such a strange reason. After two weeks, HR finally provided feedback, stating I didn't perform well on the analytical part of the interview and they wished to stop the process. While I'm okay with not receiving an offer, delaying the candidate's decision for so long due to an interviewer's unprofessionalism is very disappointing. Furthermore, I didn't find the questions he asked during the interview to be challenging at all; they were quite basic. I should have heeded previous comments suggesting this company isn't serious about hiring. It would be better if they clarified their intentions before inviting candidates for interviews and asking questions that could potentially help their business grow. P.S. if you are interviewing, remind your interviewer to submit their feedback afterwards.

Operations Manager
So I had a really bad experience interviewing with Cambly. The interview was supposed to be an hour but it went for an hour and a half just with her questions. When I tried to ask my own questions, she made it seem like we didn't have time, even though she didn't plan for it. They should always leave time for candidate questions. She asked these super specific scenario questions about real problems they were having. When I gave solutions, she asked a ton of follow-up questions about how I thought things would play out and how I'd handle any issues that came up. She didn't ask about my background, just focused on their current problems. After the 1.5-hour interview, I never heard back from Dorothy, even after I followed up. It was unprofessional and a waste of my time. I wouldn't apply there again. If you care about your time, go somewhere else.
- Tell me how you would fix this specific problem we're facing.
- What issues might arise from that approach?
- And how would you then address those issues?
