The interview process included an initial recruiter call, followed by three further rounds: two phone screens and one onsite interview, each lasting 45 minutes. The recruiter was quick to schedule things and provided feedback. At the start of each session, there was a 10-minute window for discussing previous projects or internships and asking some OOP and data structure questions. This was followed by a 30-minute coding challenge, and then 5 minutes at the end for me to ask questions.

Coding Behavioral Technical

The process involved two phone interviews. The first one had two parts: a coding interview on Coderpad over the phone, and then a Skype chat with two managers and an HR person. The second round was a phone call with two more managers and another HR person. This second round wasn't technical; they mostly asked about my past projects and my experience with different technologies. An interview coordinator handled everything, which made sending a proper thank you note a bit tricky. I think I did great on the technical part, but maybe they didn't offer me the job because I'm not a pure CS major and lack experience in advanced areas like databases or web design. Also, I don't think I showed enough enthusiasm for the role, though it's tough to be excited about a job at a company with Cambia's reviews. The whole experience felt a bit disorganized, took too much time, and honestly, a bit rude. Cambia never sent a rejection, just stopped responding after saying offers would go out within a week. A tip for this place: if you know Python, use it for the coding part; it makes the test much easier.

Behavioral Technical Coding

I got contacted on LinkedIn by a recruiter from a different company. After talking to two recruiters (non-tech), someone from Cambia called to set up a phone interview. They sent over some general info on what to expect. The interview itself had general questions about my background, then a technical part on Coderpad. I never got a clear rejection, the recruiter just went radio silent. She emailed two days later saying she had feedback, I called and left a message, but heard nothing back. I figured I hadn't done great, so I emailed her assuming I didn't get it and asked for feedback, but still no reply. Clearly didn't get the job, but super unprofessional not to respond.
