I applied for this position and got a call back the next day. There are three rounds of interviews. The first interview was just to explain more about the company and to get to know a little bit more about the company. My interviewer was nice and asked me questions related to the position I applied for. The next day I was asked to come in for a second interview. I interviewed on a Saturday and started getting skeptical after reading other reviews. For the second interview, they took us to Deep Ellum and said we were going to the festival. We just went up and down the same block asking for donations for a non profit organizations. The person I went with said the corniest lines over and over again. She then said that I was applying for an "account executive job" aka, going around asking for donation money. I told her that I applied for events coordinator and they said that I had to start from the bottom and mentioned making pancakes at IHOP first before becoming manager. I understand the need to know all parts of a company, but I don't want to have the job that I didn't apply for! If I apply for a corporate job, I don't expect to get the cooks job! (Nothing wrong with being a cook). They need to really rewrite there job descriptions! Needless to say, I gave up half way through and left.

The interview process was super fast. I applied and within a few hours got a call for an initial interview. A few hours later, I was told I'd move to the next round. The interviewer was swamped and interviewed two candidates at once. She was really nice and bubbly, but it felt like they were trying to oversell a basic sales job. What they called "events" was actually setting up tables at malls and concerts to ask people for donations, not really an events role at all.

The interview process felt really disorganized and not personal at all. I was interviewed with three other people, and we all had to wait over an hour past our scheduled time. They asked us all the same basic questions and didn't seem to try and get to know us individually. The job ad was misleading because it was actually for a field fundraising job that might eventually lead to management.
