So I had this HR call first, then three tech interviews. The first was about Java stuff, the second one was with two team members, they asked about data structures and did some live coding, and the third one was a hard LeetCode problem. Then I met with the manager. After that, HR and I talked salary, but their first offer was too low. We went back and forth, but they stopped talking to me, which was a bummer. The end of the whole thing was kinda disappointing because it felt like they weren't upfront about things.

  • Can you tell me about core Java concepts?
  • How does the HashMap in Java work internally?

Technical Coding

I was contacted by an HR through LinkedIn and had an initial screening round. The interviewer was good, helped me to get solutions. Then an onsite round with a director followed by a final round with one more onsite engineer. This engineer asked me about all the technical questions from various aspects of devops tools and automation frameworks. The process was very slow and took almost 2 months to get to the final round. We need to keep following up with HR for feedback.

  • Can you explain GITBash?
  • What are the basics of Jenkins, and can you tell me about multibranch pipelines and how to create pipelines?
