Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Calypso St. Barth.
Sales Associate
Everyone was friendly. I was hired for a location initially not intended and was compensated for the commute. I was first interviewed by two managers from two different locations. I was asked to come interview again and met with the district manager at the time. I got a call back within the week and was hired for a seasonal position. the process was easy going and casual.
- Had you shopped with the brand before?
- What kind of position were you seeking?
Sales Associate
Sent my resume to the VP and got a call back within 2 days for an interview that same week. The first interview was 1-on-1 and it went great, though the space was a bit small and cramped. Two days later, I had a phone interview which also went well. Then I was asked to come in to start training, and it was the same week. So far, everyone on staff is nice and friendly, and it really feels like a family atmosphere. The store is pretty laid back too.
- Can you describe your best and worst customer experiences?
- What do you consider most important when working in retail?
Sales Associate
Applied online and heard back in under a week. Interviewed with two managers and got the offer. However, I had to wait a few weeks to start because my paperwork needed approval.
- Can you tell me about your personal style?
- What aspects of this role are you most enthusiastic about?
