Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Calsoft.
Intern
For the written test, we had aptitude and two coding questions. Based on how we did in the written test, they then had a technical interview. In the technical interview, they asked totally technical questions on data structures, then asked us to write code for a given question, and also asked about our projects.
- Stacks and queue
- Linked list
- Write code on Array string
Intern
The interview was alright. It was online via Skype and the interviewer was chill, though he was cooking during it. The whole thing was done online and was pretty quick. The technical and HR parts were handled by the same person. The entire interview process took days, but the interview itself was about an hour. They asked questions about how to practically apply OOPS, DBMS, OS, and Networking topics.
- Can you provide a real-world example of how you've implemented an OOPS concept?
Intern
The interview process included a first round which was an online test with about 25-30 aptitude questions and 3 DSA questions of easy to medium difficulty. This was followed by a second round, a face-to-face technical and HR interview held at the Calsoft office.
- What did you learn from your resume?
- Can you answer some DSA questions?
- Do you know OOP concepts?
