Student Assistant
Overall the experience was pretty good, though I had some technical difficulties. The application instructions were provided as I applied through Cal Careers. I was nervous because it was my first job interview.
- How do you handle a missed deadline?
- How is your teamwork?
Student Assistant
Applied via CalCareers and had a simple interview process. They give you the questions 15 minutes beforehand so you can prep and jot down notes, and then the actual interview begins.
- What are your interests, knowledge, education, skills, and experience that demonstrate you are the most suitable candidate for this role?
Student Assistant
I applied through my school and got contacted for an interview in the same month. Two people interviewed me. Focus on studying behavioral questions and prepare questions to ask at the end. The Student Assistant role involves doing online tax research, creating and keeping monthly reports, and preparing audit workpapers, etc.
- Describe a time you had many tasks. How did you prioritize?
- Tell me about plain text research. Where do you conduct tax research?
- Describe a situation where you missed a deadline.
