Store Manager
I applied for a Store Manager role online. It took a while to hear back, like a month and a half. Then, I had a phone chat with the District Manager that went for about 45 minutes. After that, I had to do an online skills test. The next week, I went in person to meet the District Manager again. This time, it was in the back room, and a sales associate was just walking around, which felt kind of weird. The in-person part was super short, less than 10 minutes. She said she'd let me know about next steps and that she doesn't like to delay things. It's been over a month since then and I still haven't heard anything.
- What would you do with an employee who is not performing their duties?
Assistant Store Manager
I went through two interviews. First was a quick basic one, then a longer one with the store manager I'd be assisting. We talked about job duties and what a typical day looks like. It was good to meet my future boss and understand the responsibilities.
- How would you handle various customer situations?
- How would you handle various situations involving part-time employees?
