Software Engineer
The process was transparent, a bit long taking about 4 weeks. They were not flexible with salary offers, but they were clear about extra benefits like insurance and meal vouchers. The first two interviews were with an external HR company, the second was with the HR person from Caixabank Tech, and the fourth and last one was with an IT professional from Caixabank Tech.
- What is your desired salary?
Gestor Comercial
We started with a group activity which was a fun practical case, and then we had two in-person interviews. For the group activity, we had to present the case with our colleagues. The personal interviews involved discussing my background and many questions about how I see myself at Caixa and in the future.
- Tell me about your professional background.
- How would you develop within the bank?
- What would you like to be in the future?
Commercial Manager
First, Randstad contacts you for a brief phone interview and then schedules you for a group dynamic. After that, Randstad conducts a personal interview. If you pass, you proceed to a personal interview with Caixabank's HR department, where they grill you on your work experience. The final decision hinges on whether you have the necessary certifications to operate. Apparently, if you have the certifications, you get the job; otherwise, don't bother, as they won't hire you and won't even inform you. Randstad will initially say they have no updates and eventually state you weren't selected without providing a reason. This role seems designed for people from temp agencies and specific individuals.
- Do you have the necessary certifications to operate?
Director
You send your CV. Then there's a phone call. After that, an in-person interview. Depending on the role, you'll meet two or three interviewers. These could be the HR Director, the Territorial Director, or the Commercial Director for the specific area (like Risk, Corporate, Retail, Private Banking, etc.).
- They ask about everything.
- Tell me about your education.
- What about your Masters/Postgraduate studies/languages?
