I had one virtual interview with an engineering manager and a senior engineer. They sent a contingent offer after the interview, which was dependent on a contract being awarded. The offer was rescinded after four months because the contract wasn't won.

I applied online. The whole thing took over 4 months and included 4 interviews. It usually takes about 3 weeks and 2 interviews. I applied for a role requiring 10+ years of experience, but during the HR interview, they said it was a 5+ year position. Ultimately, I was rejected because they decided to make it a new grad level role, and my salary expectations clearly didn't align with that. The interviews were pretty chill, and the interviewers seemed happy with my answers. They mentioned they'd give me feedback within a week, but it took them 7 weeks to get back to me, explaining that due to the position being scaled down, they couldn't meet my salary requirements, leading to my rejection.
