Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CACIB.
Management Trainee
The hiring process involves CV-based questions, interviews with junior analysts, HR, and the CEO. General personality questions about handling pressure and teamwork are also included. The final CEO chat is brief and informal.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Can you share an experience of teamwork?
- How do you perform when working under pressure?
Relationship Manager
The interview process was quite long, spanning over approximately six months. I had the opportunity to meet with many of the managers I would potentially be working with. Since this was an internal transfer within the group, the Bank generally prioritizes and promotes internal candidates, and usually, they have a specific person in mind for the role.
- Could you share some personal and professional behavioral examples?
Manager
It was a pretty standard process. Started with a round with the working level, which might have included a few people from the same or different teams. Then there was a technical round, usually involving some modelling. Finally, I had a round with senior management or the MD.
- Can you describe your transactional experience as it relates to this position?
