The interview process can differ a lot based on the company and the job. Usually, it has a few steps like an initial check, technical tests, behavioral chats, and sometimes a final meeting with top bosses. Each step is meant to check different things about what you know, how you solve problems, and if you'd fit in. It might also have phone chats, coding tests, group interviews, and sometimes you might need to give a presentation or do a case study. All through this, they check your background, how you figure things out, how you talk, and if you're a good fit for the company culture.

The interview started with a Skype video call, followed by a local face-to-face meeting. They extended an offer within a week for the contract. The approach was friendly and very specific to the contract. Everything went smoothly. The interview environment was nice, and the managers, including my direct manager, were decent, which was important since I'd be working remotely and needed their support.

Behavioral Technical Case

It was a pretty detailed process with some tests for numeracy, personality, and motivation. Then, I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager and someone in a similar role. The interview felt very focused on them and didn't really try to sell the job or company to me. After that, I was quickly told I was one of the strongest candidates and would have another interview with a senior manager for a final check. I haven't heard anything since. If you get an interview at C&W, I'd suggest asking questions about the role throughout the process instead of waiting for them to present it to you.

C&W reached out by phone and then sent a helpful email with interview tips. The first interview, with the hiring manager and a potential colleague, was informal and relaxed. They explained the selection process, mentioning a possible second interview with the group manager. However, I haven't heard back since then. I sent a polite email asking for feedback or confirmation of a negative outcome, but received no reply. After going through an interview, I believe the company should at least provide an answer, whether positive or negative. The complete lack of response or feedback has left me with a negative impression of C&W and I'm puzzled why they would damage their image this way.
