You'll start with a code challenge that needs to be done well. After that, there will be interviews where they'll ask questions about your personality and your code challenge. It's important to be prepared and focused during this process.

The process started with an HR interview where they asked about my experience, the technologies I've used, and my work style. They also explained how the teams at Cabify are structured, the team size, the technologies they use (Golang and Elixir), and the salary ranges for different roles. They provided documentation with more details. The next step was a take-home coding challenge, which I could do in any language. Although it seemed simple initially, it took at least 3 days to complete, and I had 2 weeks for it. I had to upload my solution to their Gitlab and pass acceptance tests, which included setting up a pipeline and a Docker image. After spending a lot of time refining the solution, adding tests, and applying principles like DDD, hexagonal architecture, clean code, and SOLID, I received an automated rejection email after 5 days. The feedback stated that I hadn't applied DDD correctly in my hexagonal architecture and that I was missing some tests, which I believe is inaccurate. I didn't have the opportunity to discuss this or get constructive feedback. I'm very disappointed as this was one of the worst feedback experiences I've had, especially considering I've passed technical tests for more renowned international companies without issues.

Had a recruiter chat about desired salary, then a coding challenge that took a week. After that, three technical and cultural interviews, with two on the same day and the last one the following day. It was challenging but friendly, with great vibes from the interviewers.
