I first chatted with the Assistant Manager. The questions were behavioral, mostly how I would handle various staffing situations. It was a good interaction. At the end of the interview, the Assistant walked me through the store, and to the Store Manager. The manager and I spoke for 5-10 minutes about the company. It was clear he was proud of his store.

Behavioral Presentation

After submitting my online application, I was contacted a few weeks later for an interview. It felt like a mass interview, where candidates were grouped and called in. Interviewers traveled to a central location for this. The interview itself was a panel format, with each interviewer asking a prepared question. I had the opportunity to share my background and perspectives. We concluded with thanks, and no clear indication of the next steps was given. I received a call the next day to schedule a second interview for the following day. After a week of no communication, I was contacted with an offer.
