So, I can confirm the negative feedback is true. I went through a long interview process, gave references when they asked, and then they told me the job was closed. It was super unprofessional. It started with a screening call, then a manager interview. They sent me an assessment that took about 10-12 hours. After that, I had another online interview with someone from the team. Then, a 3-hour onsite interview with more team members. During this whole thing, I got a vibe about the company culture – decisions really seem to hinge on the CEO, which felt like micromanagement, like others have said. I wouldn't suggest applying here. It made me question their professionalism and culture.

Applied online. After a couple weeks, I reached out to a recruiter I found on LinkedIn to reiterate my interest. They got back to me and sent a questionnaire asking me to define Enterprise AI and if I was okay with commuting to the office regularly (I assumed 2-3 days, but it was actually 5!). The recruiter then scheduled a 30-min call with the hiring manager. I didn't get much info about who I'd be speaking with beforehand. It was during this call that I learned they expect everyone in the office 5 days a week, no exceptions, and mentioned a NYT article about it. The manager also said sometimes work needs to be done at home or on weekends to meet deadlines. I showed them some portfolio projects and asked some questions. After the interview, I didn't hear back from the recruiter, even after following up twice. They said they'd talk to the hiring manager but never got back to me, ghosting me completely. Not recommended due to lack of WFH flexibility (which should have been in the job post) and poor communication.

I cannot recommend this company. The team is tiny, and the individuals seem overworked and unhappy. The interviewer was inexperienced, lacked confidence, spoke unclearly, and didn't make eye contact. The work environment is very old-fashioned, which is a big turnoff. They require you to be in the office five days a week, with no exceptions. The pay isn't great, and the company isn't prestigious enough to attract top talent with such an outdated policy. It feels too much like working on a billionaire's personal project. There was no follow-up.
