Behavioral Coding Coding System Design

The interview process had several scheduling issues, with multiple rounds being rescheduled. First up was a hiring manager round with behavioral questions. After that, there were two coding rounds and one system design round. The coding rounds featured LeetCode Medium and Hard problems, and the system design round involved designing a monitoring system.

Behavioral Coding

I applied for a full-stack developer role in Redwood City, CA. The first round was a 30-minute behavioral interview covering my goals and my strengths and weaknesses. The second round involved a LeetCode Medium problem, 279. Perfect Squares. I wasn't prepared for dynamic programming and couldn't write any code, but it was a good experience overall. I expect the next round to be another coding interview, followed by a System Design round if I pass the coding one. Hope this helps and good luck!

The next step involved system design questions and more behavioral stuff. Finally, I had another interview with the hiring manager, which also included behavioral questions.
