It was a pretty simple interview process with some whiteboarding and usual questions about the LAMP stack. The interviewers knew their stuff and were really nice. We chatted about OOP, MySQL, PHP, and some specific PHP libraries.

I applied online and got a call from an executive after two days. We had a quick chat about the job. Soon after, I got an email for a 1:1 interview the next week with the regional manager. He screens everyone, not the first person who called. Turns out, other applicants had the same experience. The interview was about 50 minutes. It started with me summarizing my work and education. Then the interviewer talked about the company, benefits (3 weeks paid vacation, no health insurance contribution but dental yes), and the role. After that, I answered a few questions about my work experience related to the job, which weren't too hard. Then came salary negotiation, which was awkward. The interviewer low-balled me or tried to get me to accept much less than the market average. I spoke to two other applicants, one for this role and one for another RF position, and they had the same issue. Be careful! Then, after a pause, the interviewer said they wanted to hire me, starting the following week, and told me more about the job and work-life balance. He said he'd email start date info, but I never got it. My emails and calls were ignored.

I had an initial phone chat with some basic technical and work questions, then a manager chat where they asked about the framework I know and my past work. After that, I got a take-home assignment using that framework. The next step was an onsite interview, but I decided not to go because I prefer a remote job. The role itself was a mix of in-person and remote, needing 3 days in the office.

The interview process was really unorganized. I went through 3 interviews over a 9 week period. I had to reach out for an update and was told about another interview, which they then canceled and rescheduled for a week later. In the end, they wasted my time by saying they put the job on hold. It felt like they didn't really know what the functions of the position would be.
