First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at C Spire.
Market Manager
I applied for a Market Manager role and heard back from a regional manager about a month later. We discussed the role and I answered some questions about my experience, like why I chose Cspire and instances where I made a difference or overcame challenges at work. I was told I was moving forward and would receive an email for a background check and an assessment, which I needed to complete. About a week later, the regional manager called to schedule an in-person meeting for the next day. The 30-minute interview covered similar questions and seemed to go well. I was told I might hear from a higher manager. A few days later, the VP of Sales called, having heard good things, and we had a face-to-face meeting. This interview was more informational about expectations for Market Managers. I was asked about my managerial style using three adjectives. The meeting ended positively, with assurance of a follow-up call, possibly from the VP of Consumer Sales. I didn't hear from the VP of Consumer Sales, but an HR generalist contacted me for updated sales supervisor reference numbers. After providing those, I received an unofficial offer and an invitation for a drug screening. Once I passed the screening, I received the official offer and accepted.
- Tell me why you are interested in Cspire.
- Can you share an instance where you made a significant impact at your job?
- Describe some difficulties you encountered in your previous roles and how you managed to resolve them.
Market Manager
They do this interview several different ways. Sometimes they will have the Director of Retail Development, Sr. VP of HR and the Sr. VP of Sales in the room all together and sometimes they have them in different room and you will interview separately. I personally sat at a round table with all present. The Sr. VP of HR seemed to ask most of the questions with others took notes and referred back to some of my answers.
- In a scenario where two employees need your attention simultaneously, how would you prioritize and why?
- Reflecting on your career at c spire, can you explain the reasoning behind specific choices you made, particularly when faced with alternative options?
- Would you describe yourself as an analytical thinker?
Manager
I had Zoom and in-person interviews. There were multiple rounds, with a total of 7 conversations with Executives at all levels. The interviews were friendly and collaborative, focusing on my management approach rather than technical knowledge.
- Can you describe your management style?
