The recruiter gave me an unrealistic job description which I think led to me not getting the job. HR tried to cover for the recruiter, but the operations team seemed to think I was incompetent. They clearly thought I hadn't done my homework on the company.

I applied and submitted my resume online for a seasonal part-time picker role. Within about a week, I got called in for an interview. They asked about my past warehouse experience and went over the job duties and how pay is determined, which is based on how much you pick – the faster you are, the more you earn. The questions weren't too hard. The last step was an orientation where they explained the duties more in-depth and provided equipment training. If you pass the written tests after the class and the equipment tests, you get the job.
